Our Lady of Peace Parish and the Archdiocesan Shrine of Saint Joseph are located in the Heroes' Center, across from the Malecón in Santo Domingo, National District. The facilities urgently require renovation or maintenance, as they are in poor condition, with damaged floors, abandoned rooms, leaks, etc.

📍 Our Lady of Peace Church If they don't want a repeat of what happened with the Jet Set Hotel, they must fix that roof before a tragedy occurs. 🚨 For years it has been riddled with leaks and neglected: 👉 Deteriorated courtyard and damaged floor. 👉 Broken doors. 👉 Damaged audio equipment. 👉 Destroyed choir area. It's clear there's no order or authority in charge there. Immense neglect. It's a shame and an embarrassment to see how a church that was once so beautiful is now in this condition.

Large and very pretty. Easy to get to. Masses are at 11 a.m. every Sunday, a convenient time and easy access.
