A welcoming place to worship our Lord, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, celebration of the word from Monday to Friday at 6:00 pm and on Sundays mass at 6:30 am and 9:00 am.
The Parish of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle is the heart of the Catholic faith in Gurabo, a community of faith and love, working for those most in need. Here, harmony is palpable among all the brothers and sisters. This is a welcoming place, at the service of everyone. Anyone who comes here should meet Doña Tata, the sacristan, who is always ready to help. Don't miss the opportunity to visit our parish.
Beautiful Catholic church located in the community of Gurabo, Santiago, Dominican Republic. Spacious but not air-conditioned, the sound is good, and it's a good option for worship if you are Catholic.
The parishioners who attend this church are so unruly that they park on both sides of the street, blocking traffic during services. Nor does the parish priest seem to realize that his community needs the church to be out of the way.
I attended the nine-day memorial mass for Doña Rosa, wife of President Hipólito Mejía, a longtime friend of mine. We're both from Santiago.
