Excellent for those seeking tranquility and spiritual help, the priest is a great human being and devoted to Christian values.

It's a beautiful religious experience to visit this place. This parish is full of youthful energy; the young people sing and participate in the Mass. The choir sings in unison, meaning there's a strong sense of group harmony. They sometimes perform unforgettable duets on every song you know, and they're always singing new songs. I really like the natural ambiance outside in the courtyard, and the entrance is lovely. One thing that could be greatly improved is the ventilation inside. It gets very hot, and there's no breeze coming through the windows because of the building's orientation. The ceiling fans are very high and look worn from age; some don't work as well anymore. But this is just a suggestion, offered in a spirit of peace. Blessings to the parishioners.

A very good parish; people encounter God in this place. History of this Saint. Tomás García Martínez was born in Fuenllana between November 21st and December 18th, 1486; it was the village where his maternal grandparents lived. His birth took place there because a plague epidemic had broken out in the town where his parents lived, and they decided that his mother's village was a safer place for the birth. Despite this, Tomás's childhood and youth were spent in Villanueva de los Infantes, which is why he is known as Saint Thomas of Villanueva. Although his family was wealthy, the boy often went naked because he had given his clothes to the poor. Part of the original house still stands, with a coat of arms on the corner, next to a family oratory. He always considered himself a native of the town where he grew up. Friar and Priest [edit] Although Tomás studied arts and theology at the Colegio Mayor de San Ildefonso of the University of Alcalá de Henares, he entered the Order of Saint Augustine in Salamanca in 1516, and in 1518 he was ordained a priest. Within the Augustinian order, he held the positions of conventual prior, general visitor, and provincial prior of Andalusia and Castile. He was also a university professor and advisor and confessor to King Charles I of Spain. He was renowned for his great personal austerity (he even sold the mattress he slept on to give the money to the poor) and for his continuous and tireless practice of charity, especially towards orphans, poor and undowed young women, and the sick. He possessed, however, an intelligent understanding of piety, so that, although he was very generous with alms, he sought to definitively and structurally solve poverty through its active redemption, giving work to the poor, and thus making his alms bear fruit; in this regard he wrote: “Almsgiving is not only giving, but also lifting those who suffer from need out of it and freeing them from it whenever possible.” In 1533, as provincial, he sent the first Augustinian friars to Mexico. He began to experience mystical ecstasies.

It is the largest parish in the Admiral sector and its surrounding areas, and is also the headquarters of the San Isidro pastoral zone. It is a place of worship governed by Catholic doctrine. Its worship times are especially Thursdays for Eucharistic adoration, and Saturdays and Sundays with their ordinary celebrations.
