Salon with A/C. Marvelous :) Wig Queen of Zona Colonial.
My experience wasn't good. Last year I went to this store to buy a wig. The woman selling it clearly seemed desperate to sell (in my opinion, a good businessperson sells to keep the customer, not just to take the money and not have the customer return). So, in the end, I bought two wigs that were hand-sewn and expensive (they charged me $1,400), and the hair was dry. It looked nice at first, but when I started washing it and it was exposed to the sun and heat, it turned ugly. The hair looked used, it was poor quality and dry. Finally, after many calls, the owner exchanged one wig for me, but it was the same as the others. I really don't recommend those wigs; they're low quality. They're hand-sewn, and the seams come undone. Wigs from Nanas are better and the same price.
If you're into braids, this is a place to explore. I suggest arriving by taxi or on foot (it's very close to Calle el Conde) because parking isn't the best. The person in the picture is always promoting this place and is well-known in the area for it. They always dress formally and wear their braids.
I want to tell you about my experience at that so-called salon. They charged me an exorbitant amount for three hair extensions and a frontal—46,000 and some change in pesos. I paid because I was desperate. The problem wasn't paying; the problem was that my appointment was at 11:00 AM, and since I arrived half an hour late, they left me waiting for two hours. During that time, someone arrived after me, and they attended to them before me. Not only that, but I didn't leave that madhouse until midnight. I call it a madhouse because that's what it was: incredibly disorganized, with people yelling. It was awful. Then, the work they did was terrible. The extensions came undone after two days, and I had grease all over my face. The owner of the salon, the famous Patty, is a very rude woman and doesn't know how to treat customers. The thing is, in the end I had to go to another salon called Jannina Hair Center where they were able to fix the terrible job Patty Gold did on me. And when I told them my problem, they said I wasn't the first person to come to their salon asking them to please fix the mess Patty had made. I'm writing this so people don't make the same mistake I did and go to reputable places.
Excellent service, always at the forefront for clients with a unique style of serving and offering beauty to each person who visits this establishment, very COOL, I love Patty Golf Beauty Center
