Our first time in the Dominican Republic and we needed to rent a car. We were a bit unprepared for this adventure. On day two we were lucky enough to find this rental car place and met Ronny! He really saved the day, helping us get to the bank, to buy a local sim card, and to understand the area. Ronny speaks great English, and that was pretty helpful because my Spanish is terrible and the Spanish here is a bit different. Our car was really clean and nice. We got a very fair deal, and we were able to journey around the island. I can't say enough good things. GO TO THIS PLACE AND WORK WITH RONNY.

I went there based on the other reviews and it was a good choice. I rented Kia Picanto for 8 days, car was in good condition. People in the office speak English. There are no hidden costs. Good communication during the rental period. Overall driving in DR is quite simple, you just need to follow what other drivers are doing and it is better to avoid big cities.

What a service! I contacted Pilot after researching quite few companies (and having a bit of drama with Hertz - online booking) in Punta Cana. Pilot employees are very responsive to messages you can just contact them on Facebook, they communicating skills are great and all in English, the process was smooth and price fair. I did have a little issue, and it took guys only 20min to get to me and help me get back on the road straight away. then they stayed in touch just in cause. So the customer service was excellent beyond regular - I felt like they went extra mile. Car was clean well looked after and what I asked for. I was in a rush when picking the car up and the gentleman which gave me the car was very respectful and even gave me quick coaching in a use of automatic transmission as I always use manual. if you hesitating to rent the car for whatever reasons - don't. roads are okay, stay safe and focused and make sure you rent with Pilot they will not waste your time, and they give you service for your money. PILOT all the way :) Drive safe!
