I only know this as Santa Bahia restaurant. We just by happenstance walked in there for HH on Wednesday night. The 4 of us had a ball just sitting at the bar talking with the bar staff. We loved it so much we came back Thursday night for dinner. (Fabulous dinner) The manager is awesome, very attentive to your every need. They also have a private room with it's own rest room that can be rented for special events.

My family and some friends were touring Samana's emblematic houses when one of my daughter had an urge for a ladies room, she asked the waiters if it was ok to use the restaurant's bathroom and they agreed but once inside they shut off the lights and close the doors. (I assume it was because our 10 people crew was outside and it was their way of saying no more toilet uses for this gang of peeps). In my opinion, it was a bad judgment call for whoever made that bold move of keeping people from using their facilities without buying anything, but shutting off the hole place without noticing that a young girl was still inside. Not good. You had your rights, but the way you handled the situation says a lot about you.

Very good restaurant, wow, the food was amazing.
