The pizza was not good.
📰 eat The place connects to the small food market and the subway and has a nice indoor dining area with a pianist, which adds a pleasant ambiance. Although we went late, I expected the food to still be in good condition since the restaurant chose to stay open until late. Unfortunately, I do not recommend the food at all. We waited over an hour to receive our order, and when it was finally served, it arrived cold, not as hot as it should have been. Additionally, they double-charged our bill, so make sure to check your receipt carefully before paying. / The place is well connected to the market and the subway, and has a nice indoor dining area with a pianist that adds a pleasant ambiance. Reservation for a group of 7 adults for New Year's Eve: Disappointment all around: When we arrived, the table was ready, but they had squeezed us around two small tables, and it was a real struggle to get another table so we could be comfortable... but they finally did it... First, I must say that we are not picky customers and we are always polite and cheerful, but I will NEVER return to this restaurant and do not recommend it: Then we had to wait at least an hour and ask four times to get our appetizers. Our server, "Zatya," was the WORST server ever: no smile, mistakes in the orders, several errors, and so on... Our charcuterie and cheese platter was delicious, but the shrimp cocktail was just okay, the small lamb skewers were greasy, the bruschetta trio was a complete mess, the parpadelle ragù was very ordinary and flavorless, and we won't even mention the risotto... As for the wine, they don't have a cellar, so we had a $125 bottle of Amarone warm... which we received after our meal was served... on our third request... It's a shame because there was a musician/DJ who was really good and knew how to liven things up. Thanks to Ruth (possibly the restaurant manager) for repeatedly asking our server to come see us and for fixing the mistakes on the bills. So we decided to leave the place to celebrate elsewhere for the countdown, for all the reasons mentioned above.
Unpleasant. We ordered a mixed grill, but the meats were raw, burnt, and tough. In short, the meat was of poor quality, and the side dishes never arrived. As for the other dish, tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, the mushrooms were spoiled, tasted awful, and weren't porcini at all; I couldn't eat them and sent them back. Furthermore, the service was slow and inattentive. Finally, the price was far too high for the quality of the food.
This is an atmospheric place that feels like one of the European countries. Incredible and delicious pizza made with the best Italian traditions. The pizza chef is a god. We ate two versions of pizza and we're so happy! We're thrilled! I'll definitely be back. Love to everyone! ❤️
