Worst transfer ever. Extremely dangerous and uncomfortable driving. I repeat, do not go on their car no mater what, CAN COST YOU YOUR LIFE!!!!. Absolutely ignored when voiced the complain. After the drive, the driver tried to rip me off for money.
Really good service I loved the way they treated me and my girl
Update from owner, the comment is untrue and I’m gathering evidence from other members of this resort. We’re not the only ones. Others want refunds as well, and they will absolutely not refund. Transat!! This company at H10 in the DR, is literally a joke. The company sold us a day excursion, that was completely falsified. I have pictures, and testimonies to prove it. Promised a beautiful Catamaran and got a beat up rotten one. Please don’t waste your money on this company.
I enjoyed Isla Saona so much. Platinum Transfer provided us with an outstanding service. Will book again with them each time I come back to Dominican Republic.
I booked a day trip from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo. I couldn’t find much info on my tour prior so I am going to write a lengthy review. Prior to the trip I was messaged on WhatsApp in Spanish to arrange my pick from the Hotel. The email confirmation suggested to email the company 24 hours prior but since I would be traveling then I messaged them back on WhatsApp once I arrived. To clarify this company picks up multiple travelers from different locations then you will be taken to a second transfer point, we waited for about 15 mins at a cafe inside a gas station then were called and taken to another van where we we met our tour group. People complain about the transfers being confusing but because they are grouping people from so many hotels I can’t see how it could be done any other way. Drivers speak some English not great, plenty people complain about that too but anytime you travel anywhere if you don’t speak the language you are going to feel a little lost. After we meet our group we drove to Santo Domingo and met out tour guide on-site. Our guide, Agustin spoke English very well and was very friendly as well as knowledgeable. The tour itself was a historic walking tour which was fairly priced for the experience ($80usd). I took my mom who is in her 60s and it was a bit more than she could handle, you do walk the whole entire time and are constantly on the move. We saw the Tres Ojos Caves, which were amazing but require carefully going down coral staircases. We walked the Colonial district, visited the Cathedral, many shops, among other churches and historical buildings. Had a lunch buffet that was basic but all you can eat, staff was attentive. The tour mentioned viewing celebrities’ houses but we did not experience that. It took about 2-2.5 hrs to get to Santo Domingo, we walked for about 4 hours on the tour with the exception of lunch around noon and then drove back to Punta Cana, drop off time depends on who is in your group as the van drops guests off at their individual hotels. We left at 7:40 am and got back to our hotel around 7pm.
