So we went to just spend the day at the beach, not necessarily sit at the restaurant. Before getting to the Beach, you have to go through security at Punta Cana Resort and already prepay $50 per person (which goes to consumption). When we got to the beach, there were no beach chairs at all available. It took very long for them to arrange something and management was very slow to react. Francis (one of the beach butlers), however, really took care of us and managed to get the chairs. From there on it was really nice and we almost forgot about the wait to be able to lay down. The food was amazing, really great cocktails, and one of the nicest beaches in Punta Cana. Little to no seaweed and it felt very clean, you can walk along the beach, and it’s a very secure area.
As always, the open air beach vibe equals the quality on the menu. Try something new at each visit and you won't be disappointed.
The beach is beautiful, but that’s where the positives end. We had a terrible experience with the service. It seems like if you are American or white, you get priority, but if you are Latino, Dominican, or speak Spanish, they basically don’t care. I felt completely discriminated against. There are so many other nice places in Punta Cana, I definitely do not recommend this one.
Such a nice place to relax. Beach loungers and umbrellas are available if you eat at the restaurant. Prices are reasonable if you factor this in. Food is delicious. The staff was very nice, hello to Alejandro and Juan Carlos. One server overcharged us for a drink and came back to apologize for his mistake. We will return to Playa Blanca restaurant!
Beautiful family friendly restaurant. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The dishes are a bit on the expensive side but they are well executed and presented. We especially enjoyed the ceviche, shrimp cocktail and the pecao frito.
