This is my go to place. Here they have the best money exchange place in zona coloniel. He always gives the best rates and speaks english. I have been going here for years and it is very safe.

I spontaneously visited Elianny Studio for a foot massage. I was told it would be 30 minutes for 700 DOP, but the foot massage didn't even last 15 minutes. You can't complain about the price, but I think it's a scam to advertise a low price and then not provide the agreed amount of time. The two women used very pushy sales tactics. My personal opinion is that if you want a proper massage, spend a little more money and go to a studio that has a website where you can see what they offer. This review only applies to this specific studio and not to the mall.

Whenever walking in to these strip malls be very careful ask for prices before you get any services...They tend to pile on and then give you an insane price for mediocre service. Also stay away from any business that does not have price points they can present.

There are many plazas in Zona Colonial, some with stores and some with empty spaces. Plaza Lombas is your mid range plaza that is full of what I call standard stores and utilities services. It is open and light inside with plenty to offer there are restrooms at the second floor of the plaza and plenty of sightseeing places. Weekends is the best time to go. On weekends there’s parties and concerts at Zona Colonial. There are huge halls for walks and shops either side. At Zona Colonial there is variety of food restaurants and vendors. With a great range of small shops around Calle El Conde. Plaza Lombas offers standard prices in stores this is not the best place for bargains but it's not expensive designer only.
