The Águilas Cibaeñas are a team in the Dominican Professional Baseball League, based at Estadio Cibao, also known as El Valle de la Muerte (The Valley of Death). Some of their most outstanding players include Tony Peña, Miguel "Guelo" Diloné, Winston "Chilote" Llenas, Luis Polonia, Miguel Tejada, Bernie Castro, Manny Ramírez, Edwin Encarnación, and Mendy López, who is the all-time home run leader in the Dominican Professional Baseball League with 61 home runs.
