My wife and I had been shopping for a condo in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Very bad. My sister was scammed months ago, and they still haven't taken responsibility for what they did. She lost $5,000 transferring it to them, and she hasn't received any response regarding her money. After she made the deposit, it turned out that the property she wanted to buy wasn't properly registered.
