TERRIBLE SERVICE... My sister and I went there for a manicure and pedicure and as others have mentioned, they take advantage of people who don't speak Spanish. The price that they gave us was not what we paid at the end. A day later, my sister's gel manicure looked horrible, the nail polish was all smeared on her nails. My acrilic peeled off like nail polish a couple of days later. This place is too expensive to have such horrible inexperienced workers. It doesn't even deserve one star.

When I first entered this salón, I was pleasantly greeted and surprised by how well-manicured the place looked. I asked how much it would cost to have just my hair trimmed. They told me RD $1,100. I then decided to have lash extensions put in which they quoted at $3,300. Let me say, I have been in the Dominican Republic for 3 years and know a decent amount of Spanish. Unfortunately, I am not fluent when speaking about beauty treatments, but I made that very clear to the staff by saying "I don't understand what that is, explain..." After they had finished the lash extensions, they sat me down at a station to wash my hair. I didn't question this because in the United States, we normally have our hair wash included in the hair cut. The woman washing my hair asked several times if I wanted a "linea" and I repeatedly explained that I didn't know what it is, until she got frustrated and decided to just go ahead with it. After the wash they cut my hair, and did a decent job. When I went to the counter to pay, my check was RD$5,600. This I did not understand. When I looked at the copy, I realized not only was I charged extra for a wash that I DID NOT request, I was charged $700 for this "linea" that I clearly explained was unnecessary as I did not know what it was. My aunt, who is Dominican, on the other hand, was not charged for her wash before her haircut and paid a total of $1,500 for a full cut, manicure, and pedicura. To me it seems like this place was really trying to make a buck off of the girl who didn't understand. Let's not forget to mention that I woke up the next morning with half of my eyelashes on my pillow (which were said to last 21 days). And my aunts hair was a disaster from the products they used. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Not only is the quality horrible, the people are trying to rip you off. Awful experience.

I went here today and the lady that did my nails was so unprofessional. She also did my pedicure and I had gel on my feet, when she took out my gel she didn’t soak it instead she peeled it off and ripped all my toe nails off. Now my toes are super shorts and weak. When she did my pedicure she didn’t use soap on the water only clear water then sprayed alcohol on my feet. After she was done with both hands and feet she didn’t hydrate my skin with lotion or nothing. Very unprofessional and expensive for low quality. Super disappointed. And they also charge extra for any little thing you want to do.

My wife took me to get a pedicure. Not bad...friendly service.
