Nothing to see here. Most stores are not rented and empty. The few that are harass you to come buy souvenirs.
Beautiful place. With historic colored houses, well preserved, clean and accessible to everyone. Entrance is free, good job by Dominican Governement for preservation of tourists attractions and providing things and activities for foreigners and the citizens.
Very photogenic and magical place! The park is nice and clean, but unfortunately, the sellers can be quite overwhelming. Most of them sell the same souvenirs or offer the same tours, and they tend to chase you down, which gets a bit annoying. As soon as someone says “Hello, my friend,” you can expect the prices to be on the higher side — just a heads-up!
The town of Santa Barbara de Samaná is small but plentiful. All these colorful houses are part of a small Mall, don't expect the whole town is going to look like this. The spot and people are beautiful, but really crazily busy.
Nice place to shop souvenirs , jewelry and swimsuits. They also have a pharmacy if you need some medecine
