It's a nice area to visit if you like historical markers and it's also very near the Malecon entrance so you got many good restaurants around.

This is an historical place with so much feelings hard to explain for any patriotic dominican, so much stories, tales, our independence, this was a clever piece of that historical moment... wish i was there with Mella, shooting that big gun powder and proclaming our big day.... God bless them and all of us...

The new façade is somewhat attempt to protect the structure but it did take some authenticity. Ojo con eso! Still an important piece of history.

It was such a beautiful experience.. Right in front is an apartment hotel that is very clean with great location to see and discover the beauties of La Zona Colonial.
