I recently had an incredible experience at this restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the relaxed atmosphere and fantastic vibe. The drinks were strong and expertly crafted, setting the tone for a memorable night ahead. The live DJ kept the energy high, and the option to hop on the mic and sing added an extra layer of fun to the evening. The food was delicious, hitting all the right spots, and the view of the monument from the restaurant was absolutely stunning. It added an extra touch of magic to the already fantastic ambiance. Moreover, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our every need was met with a smile. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great time with friends or a special night out. I can't wait to return and make more memories here!
Avoid this place. The service is non-existent if you don’t fit their 'profile.' We sat with our drinks while the server took orders for every other table around us, even though we were there first. I felt completely discriminated against and ignored. Left hungry and angry—zero stars if I could. Do not recommend!
WARNING!!! TOURIST PRICES HERE!!! Ok. First off, we ordered ONE California roll to share. They brought out TWO. We didn't complain. Now let's talk about their sushi rolls. They come SLATHERED in some mustard based sauce. It's too much sauce. You can barely taste the flavor of the sushi. So, I don't recommend getting sushi here. Then, we asked for typical Dominican food; rice, beans, and chicken. They brought us two plates with very small portions of rice, beans, and two small grilled chicken breasts. The flavor of this was nothing to wrote home about; especially for the price. Honestly, you could do better buying the ingredients from a supermarket and cooking this yourself. You'd probably end up with better food. Then on top of that, there was a dead fly under one of my girlfriend's chicken breast. She kindly told the waiter about it, and he did nothing. The service there is terrible. Not because of the fly in her food, but because you have to wave them down for 5 minutes before they notice you need help. Then, when I got the bill, I was really over this place. It came to the equivalent of $54 USD!!!! ($2784 DOP). I left $3,000 pesos and the change for a tip. I'll never come there again and I'll always tell people do not go there.
I love the restaurant and the food. It's in a good location easy to find. Right in front of Monumento a los Héroes de la Restauración. One thing that I don't like, the restaurant has an agreement with a beer company and they only sell one single type of beer.
Nice location was very big, well lit and pretty nice I should say. Located right across the Santiago Monument, perfect venue but somewhat limited. 1. Food was not only expensive for a Dominican Restaurant but also basic and not so tasty. 2. The service was another fail, the servers just about all were very lackadaisical. 3. THE WORST IS THAT THEY HAVE NO PRESIDENTE! I repeat NO PRESIDENTE BEER!! They only have Quisqueya. SERIOUSLY GUYS!! That was the two stars for me. Anyways I won’t be back for sure!
