The best mini market in Las Terrenas. Perfect location right in front of Playa de los Pescadores. They always have what you need, the service is friendly, and it’s super convenient if you’re spending the day at the beach. Definitely my go-to spot when I’m in the area.

FAKE BOOZE. We bought a titos vodka for a crazy amount and couldn't even drink it. Whatever is inside is disgusting and very strong, definitely not vodka of any kind. Not recommended for hard liquor purchase.

The kid is a con artist trying to rip people off. Luckily, the woman in front of me is streetwise and worldly. He quoted me 300 for two empanadas and a bottle of water, and I said, "But the empanadas are 50!" He said, "Oh, they were 100, so I wanted to charge 100 for each empanada and 100 for the water." I said, "I'll give you 150 and that's it." I wouldn't have taken him, and in fact, I only took him because my friend was waiting for me, and he laughed at the whole situation. Luckily, this country has wonderful people who treat tourists incredibly well, and this kid thought he was superior, and all he does is give us a bad impression of people who were otherwise impeccable. You have a lot to learn, kid. You live off tourism! By the way, those empanadas were the worst ever, disgusting!
