This is still one of the best fried chicken spots in Santiago de los Caballeros. I’m not going to front though—ever since they moved to this location, it’s fallen off a little. When they were at the old Santiago Chicken location, it was truly top-tier. That said, I still love this place for a few reasons. They’re open late, which is clutch, and the service is super convenient—staff actually come to your car, take your order, and bring the food to you, so you don’t even have to step out of the vehicle. The fried chicken is usually well-seasoned and nicely crispy. My only real wish is that they offered French fries to go with it. Overall, still a solid spot and worth checking out, especially late at night.
The finest flavorful pica pollo, a characteristic local fried chicken dish, is highly recommended. It is definitely worth the journey.
Dominican style fried chicken with fried green plantains. Very flavorful. Gets crowded late at night. You got to hussle in line to order or call for delivery (40-60min average).
The best chicken I’ve tasted in DR IM A CHEF SO ITS DEFINITELY VALID
You need to try this chicken well season and tostones (green fried plantain). Reasonable prices. Very friendly staff.
