Excellent service! The best! And 100% personalized attention!
I went in for a haircut and color change, and it was a truly traumatic experience. To begin with, I asked for the price of both services: the styling and the color. The "expert" stylist told me it would be 3,000 pesos, so I agreed. After cutting my hair, they came with some kind of mixture to put in my hair. They didn't explain the procedure to me at all. Since I'd had my hair colored at other salons before, I wasn't too worried and thought, "They'll just bring the color and apply it." Imagine my shock when, after a few minutes, I looked in the mirror and saw my hair was completely platinum blonde! Nervously, I asked what they had put in my hair and complained because they hadn't explained the process to me. Sandra, the "expert," told me it was a color lift. If she had told me that's what it was, I certainly wouldn't have done it. At this point, the owner (Wanda) approached her and said she hadn't known what kind of process I was about to have done, and that the color change alone cost $3,000 pesos and the haircut $1,500. They tried to calm me down because, imagine, going from dark hair to platinum blonde in minutes! Wow! I decided to go through with it. When they were rinsing the peroxide out of my hair, Sandra (the "expert") explained that there had been a mistake with the price and that the whole thing actually cost $4,500 pesos. So they put the dye in my hair and peroxide on my eyebrows while she attended to another client. I started crying because, as you know, the color they had applied was already showing. My hair turned orange. The roots of my hair were super light after the peroxide was applied, and when the dye was applied, my hair looked like an orangey blonde. The "expert," because she was focused on another client, called her over and I told her that my eyebrows were getting too light, and she proceeded to remove the peroxide. In this process, part of my right eyebrow was lost because it turned very blonde. This was all because the "expert" wasn't paying attention. After that, I was desperate; the color they had applied wasn't the one I had shown her. They removed the dye and proceeded to dry my hair. I was very worried and upset. When they were almost finished drying my hair, I told them, "That's not the color I asked for. I don't like it. This isn't me." The "expert" and the owner (Wanda) did nothing but murmur to each other and try to convince me that this was the color and that it suited me. They said that since I had made a radical change, I wasn't used to it. Meanwhile, I insisted that it wasn't. I told them that wasn't the color I wanted and that I didn't like it. The owner, Wanda, suggested I go home like that, and that if I wasn't happy with the color the next day, she would change it for free. Very annoyed, I paid 4,000 pesos for something that wasn't right. I liked how my haircut looked, but not how they treated me, the procedure they used, and especially not the color. I went home, and early the next morning I went back to the salon to have my hair color changed. They treated me rudely. The "expert" said that if I came back to change my color again, it would have to be the same color I came with (black), and that if I chose another color, they would charge me more. There was laughter, jeering, and some people there were even making faces. I told her that the color I wanted was the one I came for. So they proceeded to give me another peroxide to get the darker color to cover up the mess. Here are the photos, folks, and you can judge for yourselves. Oh! On top of everything, they charged me for the blow-dry after the owner, Wanda, said she wouldn't charge me and that she'd lost money because she'd given me a 500-peso discount. BUT, EVERYONE, AS CUSTOMERS, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF THEY PUT A COLOR ON YOUR HAIR THAT YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR? I'd say I lost out as a person, especially because my hair was subjected to two peroxide treatments due to their lack of professionalism and experience. And then there was the mockery and disrespect I experienced in that situation.
