My family has been getting cake from here since I was a child and would come to the DR to celebrate birthdays with family. Now I got it for my own teen’s birthday. Got her one 9 years ago when we visited and she loved it. It didn’t disappoint. Always consistently delicious. Moist and great flavor without being overly sweet. It’s just perfect!! Best cake in Santiago!

I really dislike leaving a bad review but, this was by far THEE worst Dominican cake I’ve ever had. I went bc of the reviews and was sadly disappointed. It was flour and sugar LOTS of sugar TOO much sugar, even for me.

The cake industry in the Dominican Republic, has suffered. I don't fall. They're not making the cake as well that they used to definitely not the same flavor the cake is too sweet. It doesn't have taste and definitely need improvement to go back to where we were before. I'm sorry to say that

Well 26 years haven't been Back Home, and I just returned yesterday for an 8 day trip, but I made sure I hit this!!! Yummmmmmmmm yummmm
