Here they make each day count. We came on a special day or what. I think this is always. The best service ever, and everyone is so kind, make you feel so special. Exceptional Service Overshadowed by Bland Flavors: 3 stars My recent visit to Drago Grill Cocina Argentina in Cap Cana left me with mixed feelings. While the hospitality was world-class, the kitchen unfortunately failed to deliver the bold, rustic soul one expects from authentic Argentinean cuisine. The Atmosphere & Logistics were stressful, so be prepared, this is a high-demand spot. The restaurant was incredibly busy throughout the night, and they are very strict about their reservation-enforced policy. Do not expect to walk in and grab a table; the popularity of the location means every seat is accounted for. Now, let's talk about the food: it was a quiet experience; for a grill house specializing in Argentine flavors, the meal was surprisingly muted. Theirs flavor profile was trivial. The meats and sides were notably tasteless and unremarkable. Unfortunately, there was a lack of the signature char and seasoning that defines a great parrillada. The cuisine lacked of creativity. The "Argentinean" menu and execution were unsurprising. There were no unique twists or standout "wow" moments to justify the Cap Cana price point. The plate presentations were graceless; the plates were presented in a very standard, functional way, however nothing was visually striking or particularly appetizing to the eye. On the other hands, service was the saving grace, deserving a well 5-star review. The only reason this review isn't lower is the extraordinary staff. The service team was truly the crown jewel of Drago Grill, showing solid knowledge and attentiveness; the waitresses and servers were exceptionally well-versed in the menu and wine pairings; despite the restaurant being packed, the staff remained professional, warm, and incredibly efficient. They handled the busy environment with a level of grace that you rarely see; go for the impeccable service, the breathtaking view and the lovely Cap Cana evening vibes, but temper your expectations for the food. It’s a beautiful place to sit, though the kitchen needs to find its seasoning and spark to match the excellence of the front-of-house team.

Amazing restaurant. The food, and especially the service, were outstanding. It is the small details that make this place truly special. The location, décor, and beautiful waterfront views create a wonderful setting. The live singer added so much to the atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable. And of course, the food was delicious. We all tried different dishes, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I highly recommend this amazing place.

Located right on the water, with breathtaking views of yachts and the marina—easy parking and a beautiful, elegant atmosphere. The Argentinian food is outstanding. The churrasco and ribeye are perfection, the lubina (sea bass) is exquisite, and the pasta dishes are deliciously prepared. Every bite was flavorful and memorable. My Colombian friends celebrated their 10-year-old daughter’s birthday on Christmas Eve 2025, and they went above and beyond to make her feel incredibly special. The experience was magical. The owner is truly top-notch, la crème de la crème when it comes to attention and hospitality. Special thanks to: Drago, Cynthia, who made our table beautifully decorated and welcoming Chef Esnaider, whose food was simply spectacular Humberto, our waiter, with impeccable etiquette, professionalism, and warmth And the cherry on top: the birthday band sang for her—complete with güira! 🎶🎉 An unforgettable touch that filled the night with joy. Stopped for an early dinner while on vacation. Our waiter, Jorge was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing with reasonable prices. We sat outside with a view of the marina. It was a fantastic experience and would definitely go back.
