We’ve been there few times during our staying in Las Terrenas, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was tasty and satisfying. Fun fact: we even witnessed some rescues with a beach umbrella to get customers to a dry place during sudden thunderstorms… that’s real customer care :)
We stopped here for fried fish because it smelt so good! We got it to go, but then decided to eat it there. Although delicious, it was really small and it was $20!! I remember when fish was 400 pesos and it would be almost double this size. 🤦🏻♀️ Needless to say, we’ll keep looking.
IMO, this place deserves more than the 2.6 rating it currently has. It has strong wifi (which saved me from weak wifi at my hotel), stunning views and good food. I had a chicken dish one day and a garlic shrimp another day and both were very good, low on salt but well cooked. Service can be slow and a bit chaotic at times, but both my main dishes came out promptly on separate occasions and I was well attended. The vibes are nice.
This is a great beach front option. The food is standard beach front fare. We had a burger and a chicken sandwich. Both were good. The view is unmatched. Staff was great and cocktails were delicious. The staff also was super accommodating and moved tables closer to the water to better enjoy the sunset.
The food was good, but the menu could be clearer. It mentions that ITBIS is included, but doesn’t explain that there is also a mandatory 10% service charge. Since this isn’t a tip for the server, the wording can be confusing. Clearer information on the menu would make the experience more transparent for guests.
