The first day I tried Mofongo, it was quite big for one person and I’d rated it a 7/10. Nothing special other than the presentation. Next day I went to try the fried fish. It was extremely dry inside so couldn’t eat because it was just not something I’d eat. I was told is because that’s how they eat here and foreigners think is raw if is too soft inside. I left not really convinced by that explanation, however they gave me 150pesos discount. I left feeling hungry and went to order a nice ceviche in other restaurant instead. Wouldn’t go back to eat there.
My husband liked his meal- assorted meat platter. Nachos are not actually really nachos. The worst part is that my credit card was compromised and I only used it here. Dirty restaurant and extremely slow service.
Beautiful small restaurant. Very nice wait staff. Decorated typically. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely recommend. Had the Dominican York breakfast was delicious. PS coffee was amazing 5 ⭐️s
We opted to sit across by the water. Too many people walking by and wild beach dogs waiting for you to feed them and very loud horns and engines from traffic. Waitress had no smile and seemed inpatient while taking our order. Make sure you pay directly to your server and wait and count your change. Another server picked up our bill and came back short. We advised our lame Waitress of the happening. Food was acceptably good and the sunset was impressive.
Amazing and delicious, first authentic Dominican cuisine we’ve had so far in Las Terrenas
