Very interesting Asian pastry shop. Found it on Insta and saved it for my next SD trip. They didnt have too many options when I went but i liked almost everything I tried. "Pan de crema de leche, relleno" was the one i liked the most, the bread was super soft and the sweet taste was very delicate and subtle. I also really liked the "Pan de Mani" it smelled AMAZING as soon as I opened the little bag, I only wish it had more peanuts. Then i tried the "tartaleta de nueces" the taste was very good but i found it a little too dry. Finally i tried the "galleta de ciruelas" and its the only one I didnt like. The cookie dough to fig spread ratio was off, way too much dough and I didnt really like the taste lf the dough either. Its a good place, give it a try if you have the chance. I paid $RD325 for all 4 things.
If you want to try Asian bakery come here. Lots of variations of pastry with a reasonable price. Stop here 12:00-1:00P.M. You can buy recently cooked pastry. I’m being a client for aprx. 6years and love this place. Reminds me a lot what I used to eat at Japan.
I really enjoy coming here(Sakura), for me is not about the quantity but the QUALITY is fascinating I LOVE EVERYTHING they have…..if you’re to picky stay home and bake it yourself…..This place is my go to every time I come to Santo Domingo, I’ve been a loyal customer for YEARS……
Best pastries with multiple varieties - mainly focused on Taiwanese and Chinese sweets but many other options are available
