The bed was comfortable, and the view from the rooftop was really nice. However, the road leading to the hotel is very poor, it is sketchy at night to return to the hotel. Driving here is difficult and parking is bad. The Wi-fi never worked. The bathroom is badly designed, your knees hit the wall while you are on the toilet and there is no hot water; there also was no soap. The pool is a cold footbath essentially. We were one of only 2 groups at the hotel, and the vibe was vaguely creepy. I would not stay here unless it was peak season and little else was available. Overall looks nice, but a bad experience.
My husband and I stayed at samana suit hotel and we loved it, it's all new, spacious, clean, good service and delicious breakfast. Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Julia welcomed us very kindly. A modest price. I agree with everyone to get there it was difficult for us they should post ads of the hotel. I recommend it and we plan to come back.
Stayed here for one night. It was clean, new, spacious and the breakfast was really really good. The lady that prepared the food was so sweet. You also get quite a nice view
Took an impromptu trip to Samana and found this adorable hotel at a super reasonable price. We found it a bit hard to find so a sign or light pointing us down the road would be helpful as the entrance road is incognito at night. The receptionist was amazing. Our room was perfect. AC clean room and bed. Awesome bathroom and water pressure and warm water. Netflix on the tv. We checked in at 10pm and when we woke up in the morning we were greeted a BEAUTIFUL view and an EXCEPTIONAL breakfast. It was absolutely perfect and I will be coming back to stay again in a month!
The beds were hard. Don't book here if you're trying to be close to Las Terrenas. It's an hour drive away.
