My home away from home ❤️ they really go the extra mile to make you feel like family… Everyone was super nice and the nurses are very professional and friendly, the food was real food cook fresh every day and healthy, they make sure to accommodate to your necessities and diet. The post op massages were amazing too and helped me a lot with my recovery. I’ll definitely be back on my next Surgery and overall i willrecommend to anyone 100% looking for a RH.

Stayed here in September for 2 weeks after surgery. Very attentive to your needs, always willing to help and will treat you like family. All 3 meals and smoothies were excellent. You get plenty to eat!! You will have a driver that takes you anywhere you need to go, so no worries on how you'll get around while there. If you're going to the DR for surgery first I recommend Sea Mermaid for your after care and 2nd Dr. Guidicelli for surgery. Oh and they have a generator so when the power goes out, and it happens daily, sometimes more than once, your room will have a/c and you'll stay extra comfortable!!

I had a nice stay at sea mermaid recovery house...it was a pleasure being there, the comfort of the home from away from home the remarkable service from Anna the cook Elizabeth who get me dress on a daily basic, glory the nurse and also my weekend girl Natalie that held me down and how can I forget my massage therapist Christina those massage was greattttt.........I recommend the recovery house very cleannnnnnnn

Everyone here is so nice and caring. They really make you feel at home. It's not the Ritz but they go out of there way to make sure your comfortable. The nurses are fabulous so helpful and caring and the cook is so sweet and was always acommidating my needs as far as my cravings..lol

When I first came to Sea Mermaid I was unsure. I had a friend that stayed here and she loved it so I figured why not, and I saw they had good reviews.. I have been here now for 8 days and have 5 more days to go and I have to say I am glad I chose this recovery home. I can not act like the language barrier was not a problem in the beginning. But I tell you about these translator apps they are amazing. Lol.. And even without the app things were good. Now, I can tell you that the food is delicious and house is beautiful.. But what is most important to me is there care and how they treat people. I can say I didn't get to really understand how much of a Precious Jewel this place is until I needed help. I'm talking about can't do anything for yourself help and had to go to the hospital because I was not feeling well help. Not only did the staff jump to help me, one of the staff ( Paola) volunteered to go with me.. All I could do was cry ( happy tears) because I didn't expect that. I thought I was going to have to go alone. Paola not only stayed by my side the entire time but also helped to translate to the nurses at the hospital why I had to be seen. And when we got back to the recovery home she continued to stay by my side until I was better. To me how people treat others is important. I highly recommend Sea Mermaid to Everyone!! And I want to say Thank you to all the staff there. You will not find a better place.. The owner ( Natalie) is also amazing and cares about the patients and her staff. And my driver (Luiz) was also amazing. Luiz never complained about taking me anywhere at anytime. Again, I highly recommend Sea Mermaid.. Oh, and one more thing. The view on the balcony!! I could sit out there for hours.
