I visited a well known dental clinic in NY and was told my K9 tooth was past the point of a root canal. I was made an appointment for an extraction and dental implant. In conversation with a friend I was referred to Seemly Dental Clinic. After reading reviews and seeing visuals I contacted the clinic to talk to someone who I could explain my case to. I looked at their instagram account and also noted they had google presence. After speaking to a member of their team I decided I would take the trip to the Dominican Republic so I booked a 3 day trip. When I walked in the clinic I noticed how clean everything was and how organized the team is. I sat down in Dr.Lora’s chair and he throughly inspected my mouth and took plenty of X-rays. When he inspected my tooth further he realized that he could do a root canal and crown to save my tooth. Naturally an implant is more expensive so I was happy to see that Dr Lora is not only very knowledgeable but ethical and cares about his patients and wants to do what is best for them. I lasted 3 very long days in his clinic in which they addressed many problems I had going on. Showing me step by step how years of malpractice were being corrected. Dr Pena gave me the best cleaning of my life. In 33 years no one has lasted 1.5 hours doing the thoroughest cleaning. Dr Cordero did my root canals and explained step by step what she was doing. I left with a beautiful smile ready for my braces. I was able to get some esthetic work too, like destaining my two front teeth and removing some extra gum spacing with Dr Lora. Marina was warm and friendly and the Drs right hand in making sure everything was smooth. All tools were opened in front of me and I was able to see sanitizing areas and deep cleans of their workspace. I am extremely happy with my experience and would recommend this clinic 1000%. Ok I’m gonna rewrite this, they were nice but they purposely overcharged me because I don’t live in the country. But I am Dominican with a full cédula (which I showed) They charged me RD 6,300 for a dental cleaning. 3 months later I came back to the country and just got another cleaning at another high end esthetic clinic and paid RD 3,000. From a more acknowledged dentist so idk what happened there. But like I said they are nice and attentive but be aware.

I can’t begin to describe the level of professionalism and medical attentiveness that the team at Seemly offered us. The way they nurture you from the moment you place the initial call, to the in-person visit, was truly above all expectations. As a non-resident, and with a teen in pain caused by all 4 wisdom teeth, they took care of us to a level so catering that they even prepared all our medical documentations in the event we wanted to provide to our private medical insurance company back home for reimbursement. I am glad that their 5 stars review took me directly to them. I highly recommend!
