I sent my family there and the service was terrible. It's a Zoom consultation; they could have done it from home. They don't even ask the relevant questions, and they're already asking for money upfront before the consultation even starts. LAWYER, keep in mind that this is a business, and if you keep this up, it's going to collapse... It's outrageous.
Today I went to a consultation, and the service was terrible, starting with the security guard. First of all, the security guard was very pushy. How can you greet someone and be touching their waist or back? There's a designated area where they can direct the person to sit down, instead of putting their hands on them, especially women. Second, the consultations are a joke. They don't even do them individually; they're done in front of everyone, so what's the point of a "consultation"? They didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. And third, they didn't even have me on the appointment list, even after I paid and they sent me a message with the appointment time. When I arrived, I wasn't even there! What a mess! The lawyer, Almonte, is very arrogant.
I'm very reserved about giving my opinion and observations about a professional or any business, since I'm a licensed professional and also the owner of several businesses that deal with the public. I'm embarrassed for them. I recommended someone with this license because I thought they had knowledge of the subject. It's shameful that such a delicate process receives SO LITTLE attention. The form was incorrect; the information provided was wrong. It's as if they didn't review the information before submitting the application. Be sure to ask to see your form before sending it and make sure the information is correct. It's a shame that such a delicate, costly, and lengthy process doesn't receive the proper attention.
It was the worst experience of my life. I had too much faith in this law firm. It wasn't cheap, but it had such a good reputation that I felt it was worth the sacrifice. My first consultation call lasted less than three minutes, and I never heard from the lawyer again, only from other unfriendly advisors who were always nowhere to be found. Every time they scheduled a consultation, they left me waiting. When I finally had the appointment and they gave me a 221g form, I had to call the VAC (Visa Application Center) to follow up and find out what documents they required. The lawyers were completely unresponsive. I received an email asking for my documents, and the advisor told me not to send anything, to call the embassy, and that they hadn't requested anything since I had confirmation. This resulted in a visa rejection, and to this day, they haven't called to check on my case. It's a disgrace and an abuse of power!
Very good service
