After lounging in chairs for an hour I had to finally get up and ask someone for a drink and the food menu. Ordered a strawberry margarita and chicken nachos. Margarita took under 10 min but the nachos took an hour to come. 54 min to be exact and they were cold. I was starving at this point so I had them. Nice to have food but the pool but make sure you aren’t in a hurry. They play music but it’s not consistent. Towels are self serve and it’s open seating.

Everytime I'm in Santo Domingo I stay at this property. The food is good and the rooms are clean and very spacious. I'm always greeted very well by the front desk staff. I have ambassador elite status with Marriott so I'm often upgraded which is a bonus. My favorite place to chill is at the pool and I want to give a special shout out to all my friends at Sol Pool Bar Juaquin, Pablo, Christian, Castro Johnathan and the chef who makes great food Carlos. They always take such great care of me when I visit. Ten out of ten.

It's ok, food is mediocre. The best thing on the menu is the chicken soup. It's light, fresh and tasty. Service is slow no matter how busy they are. Best waiter is Rafael.

Great service, great drinks, great eats..no complaints here
