They're thieves. They gave me an invoice for $700 but charged me $826. I demanded a receipt, they refused, and they also refused to refund the ITBIS (VAT) they had charged. Both the owner, Rafael Ovalle, and the customer service representative, Karla Esther Amparo, became aggressive when we complained. They're collecting the ITBIS but not issuing an invoice with a receipt; they're stealing the ITBIS.

You pay by card, they don't give you a tax receipt but they charge you 18%. The owner says that's what they charge him for using the Verifone terminal. He didn't show his face; someone told the Internal Revenue Service that he doesn't know he charges 18% and doesn't report it.
