For the price, it’s a good hotel. The showers are the worse part, but everything else was decent. The bed was fresh and clean, along with the rest of the room. The staff are very cordial and professional.

Disappointing Stay – Wouldn’t Return I stayed at Studio 27 in Santo Domingo for one night and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The room had a visible crack in the door, both for the bedroom and bathroom, which offered no real privacy—luckily I was traveling solo. The worst part of the stay was waking up to a cockroach crawling on me in bed. I killed it, only to see another one shortly after. It was unclear how they got in, but it was a major red flag. The view from the room was just a wall from the next-door building, making the space feel even more cramped. The beds were uncomfortably hard, and the pillows were either too big or way too flat—no in-between. The mini-bar snacks were extremely overpriced, and I’d recommend just going to a nearby grocery store instead. Also, avoid their $35 USD airport taxi service—I found a ride for less than half that through Booking.com. While I understand it’s not a luxury hotel, I’ve stayed in budget hostels that offered a much better experience for the same price. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, and although Wilmer the bellman was kind and helpful, the front desk staff came across as moody and unwelcoming. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend Studio 27 unless you’re absolutely out of options.

Terrible! The pictures are 100 times better than the place. The plumbing didn’t work in the room. The rooms are tiny and have no windows. The jacuzzi didn’t work (they then tried to “sell” us another option). You can hear everyone else in the hotel. We had a “window” into the hall and the light kept waking us up. The breakfast was very basic and the coffee was gross! 🤢 Terrible hotel experience! In fact, one of the worst!

Economic to stay one night but I think they are too expensive for the stuff inside the reefer ( water, juice, beers , etc..) and they were charging for 2 waters that I didn’t consume.

We had a reservation with the Booking, but when we arrived to the hotel, we were refused accommodation. As an alternative, they offered a hotel on the other side of the city and refused to pay for the transfer to the new hotel. They also refused to communicate us with the owner. Disgusting service and attitude to customers. I will never return and I categorically do not recommend this hotel
