Amazing view and best service I had in DR! Local food very fresh and tasty- take chivo and lambi al coco (photo). Parking is on the side.

I really don’t have the words to truly describe the kindness everyone working here have shown me and the forty others I’m traveling with. We have spent four weeks in Samana over two months and have visited countless times due to the good drinks but even more the people there. They have let us host three birthday parties one of them which was on their closing day but they held open for us. It was decorated with balloons and they had also arranged cakes for us and everyone truly had an amazing evening. Sony is an amazing bartender and really the nicest guy I have met in Samana. Also can’t forget Nina who truly has a big heart and warm smile. Thanks to everyone working the many evening and nights we have spent there and making Samana a place to remember. I can’t describe it well enough how this truly is a gem with gemstones working there!❤️ All the love Gunilla

A great restaurant. Very attentive and professional service. Friendly staff. The food was great. Fresh and very well cooked. The ambience is great, right on the malecón. I will be back again.

This restaurant was our first stop in Samaná. It was past our lunch hour and we were tired. What a refreshing, delicious place it was! We ate on the patio to enjoy beautiful views of the bay. The pasta portions were so generous that we had leftovers. They are big enough to share!The server was sweet, took the time to chat with us, and even gave us a complimentary taste of the local drink Mamajuana. In fact, we liked it so much that we went back twice for takeout dinner to enjoy on our hotel balcony. Both times, the night server was so nice and we enjoyed talking with her while waiting for our food to be freshly prepared. We definitely recommend a visit to Taberna when you are in Samaná.

Lovely service even with our language barriers! Food was delicious & starter of fresh, warm bread was an added surprise before getting our shrimp salad appetizer. View across the harbour was gorgeous especially as it got dark & pedestrian bridge lights came on. All staff VERY friendly. Steps up from street may be a challenge for some but they are well lit.
