The Greenhouse is such a cute cafe. Baristas were super friendly. It was explained to me that they help people learn English, and on certain days they have language conversation practice. One of the baristas I talked to is involved with many good efforts, in line with the purpose of the coffee shop. My daily special coffee was good, and the pumpkin bread was good. The only difficulty with the cafe is the parking. Be patient and circle the block as many times as it takes because the cafe is lovely, and your patronage supports helping people.

It is an oasis for a great coffee or tea near the University UASD and Maximo Gomez Avenue. Very friendly hosts. They also have sandwiches. Excellent place for quiet meetings and reading. Loved the music

I was so lucky to come across this place! The people here are really friendly, the place is very comfortable, and it's cool to hear mix of Spanish and English. The chai latte (with oat milk) was delicious and the banana muffin with Nutella frosting was AMAZING! I will definitely return and have already recommended it to my friends.

Loved spending time here during my visit to Santo Domingo. The staff is bilingual in English and Spanish, kind, and welcoming + there is free WiFi and an open space to study. The coffee is locally sourced, grown in-country. For locals: they also offer English classes at no cost to anyone wanting to learn, plus, their coffee is great! Wether you are looking for a place to study, somewhere welcoming to rest for a bit, or a local spot to visit in your travels - I recommend stopping by!

The coffee is delicious and the staff is so great! There is such a peace about the establishment. There’s never any pressure to leave. You can just sit and relax.
