It's one of those rare places where you feel that not all is lost in the Dominican Republic. For a moment, I felt like I was back in school; the gentleman's kindness is very pleasant.

The owner is a wonderful person. From the first day we visited, he assisted us with great empathy and recommended good books to my daughter, who was only 10 years old at the time, and she also loves going there to buy her books. In just two years, my daughter has read more than a dozen books, and this gentleman has been instrumental in that, for which I am very grateful.

It's a bookstore. I looked for a book in several bookstores and couldn't find it, but when I looked for it there, I found it.

There's a wide variety of books; it's a bookstore steeped in history. They have all categories, from poetry to history, including medical books and books on specific professional areas. The owner is very attentive and will make good recommendations.

I'm in Santiago, and since 11:15 AM I've called 41 bookstores, and only this one has the books I needed. The young woman not only sold me the two that no one else has, but despite the rain in Santo Domingo, she sent the whole package to Santiago so I can receive it tomorrow as a gift.
