I successfully rescued 5 adorable dogs in Las Terrenas and decided to bring them back to the U.S.! The team was absolutely amazing—super helpful and incredibly proactive, making this entire trip a reality for my furry friends. The doctor was fantastic, truly understanding my concerns, and worked through every hiccup with solutions that kept everything running smoothly, even when things were out of his control. I can't even put into words how grateful I am to this incredible team! Today, we received my dogs' certification, bringing us one step closer to a joyful reunion at home ❤️🐶. The best team in all of Samana/Las Terrenas.

I had a disappointing experience at this veterinary clinic. The doctors seem to rely exclusively on pharmaceutical solutions and dismiss natural treatment options entirely. When I asked about natural remedies for fleas, such as garlic or pumpkin seeds, I was told these were poisonous. Instead, they prescribed NexGard, which I later researched and found has been linked to serious illness and, in many documented cases, death in animals. After our dog took NexGard, we found blood in its stool, which prompted me to research this drug more carefully. What I discovered was deeply concerning. I was looking for a veterinarian who takes a more balanced approach and considers both conventional and natural treatment options. Unfortunately, this clinic's philosophy is heavily pharmaceutical-focused, and they dismissed safer, natural alternatives without proper discussion. I cannot recommend this clinic for pet owners who prefer a more holistic or natural approach to animal care.

We are very grateful for this vet. He came to our house three times to help our cat and our two dogs. Since we don’t have a car, this was incredibly helpful for us. He is very friendly, calm, and professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. You can tell he truly cares about the animals. Highly recommended.

A wonderful experience for our pups travel papers back to Canada. Very kind and thoughtful and some very good English for us sad unilingual folks. Recommend.
