For me, it was one of those trips you have to take in your lifetime. Flor organized it wonderfully, and everything went perfectly. The hotel, the excursions, and even the weather were perfect. Samaná, a true paradise! We booked the excursions with Flor, who advised me from the very beginning on everything, including the smallest details: take an umbrella for the sun, don't forget to get your e-ticket, get mosquito protection, and of course, she organized the dream trip I never thought I could take, a personalized trip for my husband and me. She contacted our taxi driver and our guide in Samaná. Ricardo, our taxi driver, and Ricardo, our guide, yes! Both are named Ricardo. Our friend Ricardo, the taxi driver, is a wonderful person who is attentive to you at all times. He wants everything to be perfect and for you to feel at home. We met his family, and I can say they are wonderful. I fell in love with his one-year-old grandson. On the way to the excursions, he stopped several times so we could try coconut bread or cheese. What taxi driver makes that? Well, ours, our friend Ricardo. Taking me to a store they opened for us on the way to the hotel so I could buy a little gift for my grandson, and also bring me some coconut cream so I could make my own coco loco 😁 Anyway, I have no words to express my gratitude for how he treated us, the stories he told us on the way to the excursions and what life was like there. I must say that I'm taking a great friend with me. Now, my friend Ricardo, the guide. Wow, from him I learned the most beautiful things about Samaná, told by an expert like him because he loves his land and he transmits that to you. I remember when he didn't take us to the 7 beaches and he told us that he used to go there with his grandfather. When he told us anecdotes, his eyes lit up. I also remember his jokes he made with my husband, or when he said, "Manoli, stop!" Breathe and look at what you have around you and of course what he had was the most wonderful that nature can give you, also on the hikes, he told us what each plant was and picked us fruit to try, saying that it was delicious!!! We also went on that hike to a cave, Duarte I must say that it is beautiful 💖 and more as he tells you the history pure love!! Well with him we did all the excursions that Flor told me I couldn't miss and how right she was, I don't regret any of them, each one more beautiful than the last. The first day we did the Lime Waterfall impressive!! We did it walking which is quite a spectacle and we arrived without anyone else the majestic waterfall just for us from there we went to eat at a very pretty typical place there we ate great 😁 The second excursion was to Rincon Beach and Caño Frio swimming in its mangroves is wonderful also to say that we were alone, quite a privilege, Rincon Beach the first beach we saw was very very pretty swimming there quite a luxury wherever you look it is beautiful. Third excursion, we went to Frontón Beach and Madama Beach. We went by boat, and it was quite an adventure. At Frontón Beach, we snorkeled, saw coral, colorful fish, manta rays, and white, red, and black sea urchins. Quite an experience. There, we ate delicious lobster right by the sea, all alone. It was a luxury. Then we went to Madama Beach, which is a beautiful beach that leaves you speechless. And our last excursion: 7 beaches that I talked about a bit at the beginning: Calenton, Escondida, Colorada, Niñingo, Playa del Amor, and Breman. Of them, I have to say it's a spectacle to see such beauty. I couldn't say which one I liked the most, as each one had its own charm. There, along the way, we also met a local who made delicious coco locos (coquitos, as they called them), and told us many stories. That stop was very, very beautiful. So, this is my trip to Samaná, from which I have taken friends and unforgettable memories thanks to Flor, Ricardo, and Ricardo, who were my companions and friends on this experience that I will never forget.
