A dangerous experience that ruined our day. We found this excursion as we were getting off the cruise ship. We had asked to see the whales and the beach at Cayo Levantó, and we asked if there were any whales, knowing that the season had just begun. We were told there were "muchos ballenas," that it lasted an hour in total, and that the sea was "smooth." The bottom line is, we didn't see any whales. We spent almost three hours on the boat in a stormy sea due to the wind, and six people vomited on the boat. Despite this, the driver wouldn't turn around because he wanted us to believe there were whales when they weren't. After everyone asked to go back, we were able to get back on land, completely sick until the evening. Shameful. They'd do anything for money.

Excellent guided tour with Mr. Víctor in Samaná.... A warm welcome upon arrival at the Samaná sign on the Malecón, across from Pueblito Príncipe. We then traveled to Cayo Levantado and had lunch there.

Don Víctor provided excellent service; we went whale watching and had a wonderful time. The food at Caío Levantado was also excellent. 20/10
