We had a really nice time here. The staff are beyond helpful, almost too helpful. They are so lovely. The rooms were clean, everything was clean really. The food was always either really good or pretty good, but never awful. (Although the a la carte sushi was very very bad). The beach is very lovely (although it isn’t huge so it feels really busy just from the other guests of the hotel) but if you walk to the left there is another beach not on the resort that is not crowded and I loved it . I had a great time. My only complain was the bedsheets were not good. Scratchy and hot. Also, it is like almost 2 hours from the airport. We arrived at night, and the drive in the dark was not fun. I would never arrive after like 5pm ever again because it made the journey miserable since it was just hit and bouncy but nothing to look at.

just visited with my family (4 adult 2 infant) we had a fantastic time the staff took great care of us from arrival (cool towels and delicious lemonade was perfect after a long ride from the airport 1hr+) to departure with help with luggage and getting into our taxi the staff really was service forward, smiles and kindness all along the way. The location is beautiful, beautiful lush grounds, gorgeous beach, nice rooms (good cribs for the babies). but for us the service stood out and the staff where great, chef did a good job of creating diverse buffet we always found something to rave about and the variety of hot and cold was great. Good sandwiches and sweets available (almost) always, beach bar and restaurant had great fried chicken and pizza. overall definitly would go back and recomend. only con was lack of shade

It was our first time in the DR. I would definitely recommend Samana & the Wyndham Alltra Resort! The staff are friendly. The hostesses & servers at the Buffet were lovely & accommodating. Bingo with Luisa & Cassandra was always fun! Our favorite spot to begin our day was the beach café. Judeisy & Luiza Maria made us the yummiest iced coffees, always with a beautiful smile & a kind word.

This resort is amazing! The food, the beach, the service, the rooms, everything is top notch. The beach is nothing we have ever been to before, it is so beautiful and very calm and relaxing. There is a variety of food and it is cooked very well. Reynaldo was very kind and helped us with booking the great teppanyaki experience. The resort is calm and quiet and great for families. If I could, I would rate this resort 10/10. Thank you for the perfect holiday!

Just return home from this resort. Purchased package through Sunwing/westjet. - Beach: Top notch - People and service: very friendly and helpful. My favourite key people are Jose at KAA bar and Reynaldo ( if I spell the name correctly) who help me with Japanese restaurant booking. - foods and drinks: plenty for everyone and lots of choices to choose from - resort: easy to go around, flat ground- easy for elderly and wheelchair. Would recommend.
